CricBet Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the Bet here? There are two bets for the overall tournament - who will win the Tournament and who will be the Man of Tournament. Then, there are 4 bets that can be made for each match: Winner (or Tie) star, Runs (for each team) runs-empty, Wickets (for each team) wickets-blank and Man of Match mom-blank. Depending on the match outcome, your bet is awarded points, which determines how well you did.
  • Is Money Involved? No, the game is played for points, which are tracked through Apple Game Center. It has been scientifically proven that the boast of scoring more points than your friends is as effective as, if not more effective than, regular paper money. Plus there are no conversion rates involved, and the ICC Fraud committee doesn't have to investigate each bet too.
  • A lock lock appeared before I could bet. What's going on? You can only bet up to an hour before start of the match. So get your bets in early. Once the match is locked, you will only see the results of the match and how you fared.
  • I want to be able to bet right up to start of the match. How do I do that? See below.
  • I don't like the ads. How do I remove them? You can select the menu settings on the top right of screen, and choose option to "Remove Ads". As a bonus, you will be able to bet right up to the start of the game.
  • How do I know how I fared? You will see points for each of the matches. Plus, you can tap on info on the top left, and select "Game Center Ranking" to see how you are doing versus other players.
  • I missed so many of the initial matches. Is there any point in playing now? I believe the question had a pun intended. Yes, there are plenty of points to play for. As league matches finish, the points increase (see below), so you will not be affected by missing a few of the league games.
